Employees across U.S. locations collect more than 3,000 school supply items and support local families through summer community outreach

NEW YORK, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — As SMC Global celebrates its 30th anniversary, the company is marking the milestone not only by reflecting on three decades of growth, but also by giving back to the communities that have been part of its journey.

Throughout the summer, employees across SMC Global’s U.S. locations participated in community outreach efforts designed to support local students and families. Team members at the company’s facilities in Kershaw and Pageland, South Carolina; Houston and San Angelo, Texas; and Kansas City, Kansas, came together to collect and donate more than 3,000 school supply items that will directly benefit elementary students in the local communities where SMC Global operates.

In addition to the back-to-school initiatives, a group of SMC Global employees volunteered with Family Promise Montco PA, helping organize spaces that support local families and contribute to the organization’s work in the community.

These initiatives take on special meaning in 2026 as SMC Global celebrates 30 years in business. Since its founding in 1996, the company has grown its operations and geographic reach, but its commitment to the people and communities surrounding its locations remains an important part of its culture.
