Leading U.S. Strategic Communications Firm Adds Former DGA Group Americas Leader to Drive Next Phase of Growth

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Precision Strategies (“Precision”) today named Adam Cubbage Chief Executive Officer. Cubbage will spearhead the firm’s next phase of growth and deepen its strategic communications, corporate advisory, and crisis and litigation support practices.

Cubbage brings to Precision proven leadership in scaling businesses and driving growth through operational excellence, innovation, and talent development, having recently helped launch and grow a leading global advisory business. He has significant experience providing strategic counsel to senior executives and boards of directors on complex issues and crises, and he will expand Precision’s strategic advisory and crisis capabilities with an understanding of how reputation, policy, risk, and business performance interact in today’s environment.

Cubbage joins Precision from DGA Group (“DGA”), where he served as Head of Americas for DGA and a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee. In that role, he led the build-out of DGA’s Americas Strategic Communications, U.S. Government Relations, Energy, Latin America, & Caribbean business units and global Business Intelligence group. As part of the firm’s leadership, he also worked across DGA offices to advance its global strategic objectives. He joined DGA in 2020 and was part of the small executive team that raised capital, designed the business, and launched the global platform in 2021. He helped build it into a premier global advisory firm with 13 offices and more than 300 people across North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

“After 13 years of significant growth and expansion, the time is right to bring in an experienced CEO to scale Precision,” said Stephanie Cutter, Precision co-founder and managing partner.

“Adam is widely respected for his strategic focus not only in building businesses but providing the high-level counsel our clients need in the U.S. and across the world to navigate constantly shifting challenges. That combination of skills will help us grow our footprint in new markets and expand our expertise across sectors while continuing to provide the high-level service our clients expect and deserve.”

“High-performing executives and organizations know they have to play the inside and outside game, in Washington, across states, and in global capitals, on screens and in living rooms on both offense and defense,” said Teddy Goff, Precision co-founder and chief growth officer. “Adam has spent his career building businesses and counseling leaders through exactly those moments, with an understanding of how reputation, policy, risk, and business performance interact. We could not be more confident in Adam, and we’re thrilled to work alongside him as we continue to grow Precision.”

Before DGA, Cubbage worked at FTI Consulting in London and New York, where he focused on crisis communications and financial communications. Before FTI, he was a practicing attorney at Shearman & Sterling (now A&O Shearman).

“Clients choose Precision when the stakes are highest, and they need a firm that knows how to win,” said Cubbage. “Stephanie, Teddy, and the exceptional team they have built provide mission-critical advice to sophisticated leaders daily, and that’s why I’m here. I’m honored to join Precision and help lead it into its next chapter.”

Cubbage’s appointment follows ABRY Partners’ investment in Precision in January 2023 to accelerate the firm’s growth across its integrated best-in-class services, technology, and proprietary data and AI platforms. In March 2026, Precision acquired Firehouse Strategies, growing the firm to more than 125 U.S. professionals and creating a bipartisan 50-State Network of experts who solve complex federal and state-based policy and regulatory challenges.

Precision’s award-winning work has been recognized by leading industry organizations, including being named the 2026 Outstanding Public Affairs Agency of the Year by PRWeek. In 2025, it won PRWeek Best Public Affairs Campaign, was named a U.S. Agency of the Year by PRovoke Media and won U.S. Agency of the Year and Best Influencer Campaign at the 2025 SABRE Awards.
