With a background in electrical engineering and cybersecurity, Lawal has built a career that blends technical problem-solving with business strategy. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and his master’s degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Rhode Island before beginning his professional career in the corporate sector.

Lawal later moved into product management while also building experience in real estate. He began investing in property in 2019, and his work gradually expanded into development projects and opportunities involving local communities.

He also credits athletics with helping shape his professional mindset. Growing up in North Providence, Rhode Island, Lawal competed in varsity soccer, singles tennis, and wrestling. He continues to play sports and says the discipline and accountability he learned through athletics still influence how he approaches business.

As he continues developing his real estate and networking interests, Lawal is focused on building relationships with cities, municipalities, business leaders, and other professionals who share an interest in long-term community growth.
